The favourite was undoubtedly fresh fish and chips, but others had pizza, chicken and snacks and everyone was satisfied. For a special day out it can hardly be bettered - not overly busy, good views over Lake Victoria, swimming pool, TV for the football, and a well-stocked bar. I'll certainly be back in 10 years when I have my next round-number birthday!

  Stayed there a long while ago but I visit on occasion since I live nearby. Rooms are small and there are too many cottages crammed together. very basic, don't expect... read more anything fancy. Food is simple but good. It presents value for money in that lower-end category. It's on the lake but you don't have a feeling of being in the nature because all around you is concrete. Staff are trying but there's no high-level training and with some, language is a problem. The place is suited for local tourism more than geared up towards foreigners. Music on weekends and holidays is so loud you don't want to be near.
